Easy DIY Gold & Silver Refining Process At Home, No Acids. Remove Base Metals By Cupelling MBMM
Gold & silver refining using the cupelling process for removing base metals (copper, lead, iron, antimony, zinc, etc) from our smelted gold buttons. This process works on silver as well as platinum, palladium, and other precious metals, too. This is an ancient process that has been used since the bronze age for removing base metals from precious metals. It is inexpensive, low tech, low skill and works very well for getting refined gold and sliver with very little contamination. Using only lead, portland cement, and a torch the base metals are heated, oxidized, and removed from the precious metals by the cupel. It is a great way to take your smelted gold, silver, precious metal buttons and increase the purity of the precious metals with very little work or effort.

Moving massive furnace modules using the power of 322 SPMT axle-lines
Mammoet’s USA team won a Job of the Year award at the Specialized Carriers and Rigging Association’s (SC&RA) Annual Conference in Washington D.C. in April of 2022. The award was for Hauling Job of the Year in the Moving project category which highlights transports done using specialized equipment such as self-propelled transporters, dollies, and crawler assemblies.
Our team presented the successful completion of the transport of the furnace modules for the Gulf Coast Growth Ventures plastics manufacturing facility in San Patricio County, Texas. In 2021, the heaviest modules of the project, the furnaces, were transported successfully.
The largest furnace module measured approximately 91m long by 43m wide, towered over 21m tall (300 ft. long by 140 ft. wide and nearly 170 ft. tall). and ...

Smelting & Refining Fine Gold Dust To 22.5 Karat Purity
Took some of our old gold dust and gold vials and smelted it all down to a nice gold button. Then using the cupellation process the gold button is refined by removing the base metals by oxidizing them and absorbing them into the cupel. In total just over 43 grams of gold was recovered. Chapmans flux was used as the smelting flux. Portland cement, and lead was used in the cupelling process.

A cement is a binder, a substance used for construction that sets, hardens, and adheres to other materials to bind them together. Cement is seldom used on its own, but rather to bind sand and gravel (aggregate) together. Cement mixed with fine aggregate produces mortar for masonry, or with sand and gravel, produces concrete. Concrete is the most widely used material in existence and is behind only water as the planet's most-consumed resource.
Cement manufacturing is a complex process that begins with mining and then grinding raw materials that include limestone and clay, to a fine powder, called raw meal, which is then heated to a sintering temperature as high as 1450 °C in a cement kiln. In this process, the chemical bonds of the raw materials are broken down and then they are recombined into new compounds. The result is called clinker, which are rounded nodules between 1mm and 25mm across. The clinker is ground to a fine powder in a cement mill and mixed with gypsum to create cement. The powdered cement is then mixed with water and aggregates to form concrete that is used in construction.
Clinker quality depends on raw material composition, which has to be closely monitored to ensure the quality of the cement. Excess free lime, for example, results in undesirable effects such as volume expansion, increased setting time or reduced strength. Several laboratory and online systems can be employed to ensure process control in each step of the cement manufacturing process, including clinker formation.
